Mia del Giudice is an African-American New York City-based actress. A Jacksonville, FL native, she received her doctoral degree in physical therapy from NYU before switching to a career in acting in 2020. With no financial access to theater education, Mia is proudly self-taught, reading technique text and rehearsing scenes and monologues at home, while working her way onto sets through background work. She booked her first speaking role within 6 months of entering the business.
Her earlier roles include starring in the fantasy short film Wonders, casted and executive produced by Kim Coleman (Black KkKlansman, They Cloned Tyrone) and featuring industry veterans Leslie Uggams and Adriane Lenox. She also claimed an early role co-leading Italian director Tommaso Bertoncelli’s directorial debut Dead Man On Leave, which has since screened internationally.
Most recently, Mia has starred in The Bee, William Phoenix’s (SEC: Any Given Saturday) directorial debut, produced by Legacy Pictures (Out of the Furnace, Beyond the Lights). She also led Howard M.F.A. thesis film Paralysis by Analysis, which has since toured domestically and won the institution’s ShotDeck Showstopper Award. She additionally portrayed ‘Malikah’ in the feature length drama film Gazelle, which was an official selection at Chicago International Film Festival and received the Vanguard Audience Award at Vancouver International Film Festival.
She is currently managed by Adriane Lenox and represented commercially by BBR Talent Agency.
